| Mitten covers are available for M11- and M60-style mittens. In addition, NSA features the M80 open-finger mitten, which is a general-purpose cover for standard mittens and gloves. Typically made without liners, NSA covers fit over the finger portion of the mitten. Covers not only extend the life of the mitten, but also are less expensive to replace. The standard length for an NSA cover is 10 inches. |

ML - Leather is ideal for moderate-heat, high-abrasion applications. This is a medium-weight, pearl-colored split leather.
GL - Fiberglass (35 oz.) is ideal for high-heat, low-abrasion applications. This is one of NSA’s best values.
TC - Thermobest™ (22 oz.) is a Kevlar® blend, offering heat and abrasion resistance. It is NSA’s most popular mitten base cloth.
ZP - Zetex Plus™ (40 oz.) is a coated, high-temperature fiberglass cloth with high durability.
PB - Norbest 822™ (22 oz.) is a unique PBI®/Kevlar® blend that offers superior heat protection.
PC - Norbest 845™ (45 oz.) is the heaviest PBI®/Kevlar® blend available. It offers maximum heat protection.

| NSA manufactures a specially designed mitten and mitten cover for the investment casting industry — in which protection from extreme heat is needed for picking up hot molds and castings. The 13-inch mitten (M60WHGH13012) features an external White High Temp Fyberbest™ patch over a Thermobest™ base cloth, as well as a double-layered Nomex® palm patch and heavy wool lining. The standard, 10-inch White High Temp Fyberbest™ cover (M59WHXX10) fits over the mitten, increasing thermal protection and extending the life of the mitten. |
